LAMAS Research Fund Extension

This year has been unusual and disruptive to work and study patterns for many of us. Because of this, we are extending the deadline for applications to this year’s Research Fund. The new deadline for submissions is 31st May 2021.

The Fund is set at £5,000 and an application can be made for all or part of this amount.  The application form and full terms and conditions are available here.

September LAMAS Newsletter - Digital Issue

Once again we have taken the decision to publish the Newsletter in digital format only as physically stuffing envelopes and posting out over 600 copies is still not possible.

In this month's issue there is news on the upcoming season of lectures and an update on the 2020 conferences, as well as an article on The Princess Alice Disaster of September 1878.

May LAMAS Newsletter - Digital Issue

In normal times, we would have posted the May Newsletter to all Members towards the end of April. These are not normal times and, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, it would have been very difficult to print and post this Newsletter.

Council decided to publish the Newsletter digitally, and we have sent it to all our members in the e-mail list. Sadly, we do not have email addresses for all our members. So, if you know of fellow members who may not be able to receive it, please endeavour to share the May issue in any way you can.

If you would like to join our mailing list, please contact Karen Thomas.
